In the late 1990's the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency developed new regulations requiring public water suppliers to send annual Consumer Confidence Reports (or CCR's as they have come to be known) to all customers. The goal of these new regulations was to provide public water customers with basic information on the source and quality of their water.
Our constant goal is to provide you with a safe and dependable supply of drinking water. In addition, we want you to understand the efforts we make to continually improve the water treatment process and protect our water resources. The CCR is designed to provide you with some data and numbers to back this up. Some of the sections can seem very technical but we have also provided definitions and explanations where possible. In any case, please don't hesitate to contact us at once if you would like further explanations.
The first of these new reports was distributed to all customers in October of 1999. Subsequent reports have followed in June of each year. Reprints of these reports are available at our business office or, you may view them at the links below.
The Consumer Confidence Reports is in Adobe Portable Document (.PDF) format, and therefore, Adobe Acrobat Reader or Accessibility Tools are needed to access the forms. Click on the Adobe image below to obtain a free download of Adobe Acrobat Reader.
